Daniel's Leather Behind The Scenes

Inside the Craft

Behind many of our pieces is a process shaped by years of experience, precision, and attention to detail. What reaches the floor reflects multiple stages happening behind the scenes, where design, materials, and craftsmanship come together.

From Concept to Creation

Many of our designs start with a clear direction. Ideas are sketched, refined, and translated into patterns before moving into sampling. Each version is adjusted for structure, proportion, and overall balance until it meets our standard. These pieces are developed through refinement, not rushed production.

Materials that Define the Piece

The foundation of our garments is the material itself. We work with carefully selected shearlings, leathers and furs chosen for their texture, durability, and overall feel. Materials are reviewed before use to ensure consistency in color, softness, and quality, especially for pieces that require a higher level of finish.

Specialized Craftsmanship

Many of our garments are handled by tailors who specialize in their craft. Leather, shearling, and fur each require different techniques. From paneling and stitching to shaping and finishing, these pieces are constructed with a focus on precision, alignment, and overall balance.

Customization & Personal Touch

We offer options that allow certain pieces to feel more personal. From interior monogramming to fit adjustments, details can be tailored to better suit the individual. This allows select garments to go beyond standard sizing and feel more considered.

The Workshop Environment

Our workspace supports a range of processes, from design development to garment refinement. You'll find pieces at different stages, along with the materials and tools used to complete them.

Decades of Refinement

Since 1995, we have continued to develop our approach to design, materials, and construction. Over time, this has allowed us to expand into creating and refining many of our own pieces.

Why It Matters

The way a garment is made affects how it fits, feels, and lasts over time. For pieces that go through a more detailed process, that difference is noticeable.
